Nominate a Soldier for Free Coffee
Nominate an active duty soldier serving overseas in a war zone, and we'll send him or her a bag or two of free coffee.  It may be any of the stock of coffee we have, but we know soldiers love the gourmet coffee we send no matter what the brand!  (See troops' thank you notes below.)

To nominate a soldier, email us with the soldier's name, email address, and shipping address.  We'll notify the soldier of your nomination before sending the shipment to ensure his or her familiarity with our program.

Operation Gratitude
 We continue our long-standing support for troops which includes our latest donation of 45,000 coffee packets to Operation Gratitude for their Patriotic Drive. Over the last 5 years, we've donated over 500,000 packets of coffee to Operation Gratitude.

This fantastic, non-partisan organization sends care packages with donated goodies and letters of support to soldiers overseas! It's a wonderful organization making a real difference in soldiers lives.

05/04/10 - I just received your package today and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised!  I was bowled over by the initial generosity of your kind gesture, but I never expected to receive such a large shipment of coffee.  Rest assured it will not go to waste.  I have a percolator right outside my office and a French press inside it.  All of the Marines who work around me are ecstatic!  Know that many Marines and sailors will benefit from your kindness.

In this environment, little luxuries such as good coffee make all the difference in the world (and are arguably more important than the "necessities").  Being able to enjoy a delicious cup of quality coffee (as opposed to the warmed-over battery acid served in the dining
facilities) goes much farther than you can appreciate in raising the morale and enthusiasm of Marines and sailors in a deployed environment.

Thank you so very much.  Perhaps we'll meet some day and I will be able to buy you a cup of good coffee in return.  Thank you again!

I recieved your coffee today and we immediately made a huge pot in the ER.  We made the cinnamon Hazelnut and i must say the taste is just as good and the smell.  And the smell is amazing, we all sat there sniffing all your coffee.  Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful gift.  It is being distributed throughout the hospital as we speak!  We will be in the process of sampling all your fine coffee throughout this week and i will let you know what everyone thinks!!  I will do my best to take some pictures too of soldiers being able to benefit from your gift as soon as my camera gets back to me next week.  Its on a mission!!

05/24/10 - I was contacted via email about being sponsored through the Adopt A US Soldier program. I just wanted to say how much we appreciate everything. I have yet to recieve the package, but, am anticipating its arrival. It's a very rare thing here to have a good cup of "real coffee". The cup of joe you get here in the mess hall pales in comparison to a fresh brewwed cup. Most all of us "old timers" keep coffee pots in our rooms, others share with those who do. The trouble is the availability of coffee grounds. The stuff in the mess hall is stale. A package from home... I speak for myself here... but, I would rather that package be filled with items from my children, crayon works of art from my 2 year old, handmade cards from my 4 year old, snack goodies from my teen age daughters... and so on. I have been hesitant to ask for coffee, as I think it would detract from the other important items. But, I digress... Thank you so much for your support. It will be enjoyed, I assure you of that.
